    Had an endoscopy a few months ago

    Under general anaesthetic. Anybody else find that you couldn't swallow for a day after it? They tried giving me toast tried to eat it but it wasn't happening. I had to abandon the toast, they gave me soup. I ate that fine. Had it as got more health issues which we discovered about 4 weeks ago is in fact my gallbladder. Endoscopy showed up fine which we knew it would. I hope I never have to have an endoscopy again.

    I would have thought it was normal to have a sore throat after but I have never had one done.

    I couldn't eat normal for a day. Don't know what hsppened but I just couldn't swallow.

    this would have been explained to you verbally before and in the patient care leaflet after the procedure. its quite normal.
