    anyone ever stopped prozac cold turkey?

    wanting to come off prozac and have been reading up how yer should be weened off ect has anyone ever just stopped taking them and how did it effect them if so?

    I did and felt a bit worse for about 2 weeks but nothing more than a bit of dizziness

    Prozac is one of the easier ones to come off apparently - very long half life - I had been on it for 15 years but did cut down over a week and start mirtazapine - just felt a bit dizzy but no real problems.

    Personally would not just stop dead - do it over a week - every other day, etc.
