Thumbs down Awful stomach/lower ab pain

I feel fullness in my lower ab. Mega cramping in lower intestines, burning feeling, nausea, general flu like feelings. I have convinced myself I have colon cancer. Im 31 female, midcycle. I have had health anx all my life. The funny thing is I know I have had these symptoms before but my inner thoughts are screaming, you have cancer.

The last time this happened it was a stomach flu, then ovarian cyst, then ovulation pain. I just hate being in the moment and being terrified. I wish I could get sick and cope like everyone else. What a horrible way to live.

    Re: Awful stomach/lower ab pain

    Hi Joni
Health anxiety is horrible and all sufferes know only too well how to process any symptom into a "worse case scenario". I am not a doctor, but what you have described really does sound like a bug of some kind. Can you take to your bed for a couple of days with a magazine or something light to read? and seehow you feel then?
