Ranitidine

Does anyone take this?
My doctor has given it to me to take twice daily morning and night.
For some reason i feel a bit skeptic to take it as I am scared to.
She said it was to take while Im waiting for my gastroscopy.

Has it worked for anyone?

don't worry, it just stops your stomach from producing too much acid. You can buy it over the counter now so it can't be too nasty! I've taken it for acid reflux and it works beautifully and no side effects that I've noticed.

Yeah I thought id give it a try aye. Its taken me a week to make that decision lol since I went to the doctor last week. But I will try it and it may be for the better anyway.

yes i am on them i feel that they dont work or it could b just me and my anxiety

I take them to help with anxiety induced acid reflux. They work well :-)

I have started them. I dont think they are that good, I feel worse now. I was on losec which was better than ranitidine. The only problem is is that I want to go back to losec because at least they were better and now I am running out and need to get some more off the doctor.
I went on ranitidine because i was still getting some indigestion on the losec but now I know that losec still had a better effect than the ranitidine does.

Ive been sent to get a camera down my throat at the hospital anyway.
