In my opinion it is very normal but if you are worried then please see your doctor

periods are never an exact science. Mine are all over the place at the moment.

Hi Susan
I had always been pretty regular but had bleeding mid cycle a few years back (I am 39 now). Doctor did swabs and just found thrush. It happened again about 9 months later and had swabs and blood tests (as they thought it could be hormonal). No cause found and I have settled down again. I have a friend a few years older who was surprised I had gone to doctors (she does not have HA) as she says she has mid cycle bleeding quite often.
All sorts of things can affect periods, stress, infection, hormones or just random blips... and I guess things will go a bit haywire as we approach menopause. I think a blood test can pick up on peri menopause - Others may know more about this... I'd suggest you go and see doctor and put your mind at rest, and don't panic - it is quite common.
