    CBT advice

    Hello ,
    I'm currently having CBT therapy.
Part of it is that I have to right down the 'bad thought' then write down the 'alternative thought' .
The trouble is I'm struggling to believe in the alternative thought. The thought that I have something wrong with my health is much stronger and I feel doomed to fail?.
    Anyone been through this?.

    Re: CBT advice

I've just finished a CBT course and they should be flexible when it comes to these exercises.

Just be honest and say you don't have any alternate thoughts at the moment.

Your therapist should then try to approach a solution using different exercises.
