moclobemide?

I am having difficulty getting any information from people who have used this med. I am supposed to be starting it on Friday and I don't know if I want to. It is prescribed for depression and social anxiety.
My biggest reservation is that it seems to cause insomnia. That is the last thing that I need!

Any experiences anyone?

Just google it for side effects,doesnt mean you'll get them tho

I did google but the problem is that insomnia and tirdeness are both listed as side effects! That is why I wanted personal accounts.

Nicola, I did see that post thanks which was helpful but I am still hoping for anyone to tell me if they had insomnia or tiredness. I am guessing that if the patient was told not to take it too late in the evening that it is because it makes you alert. I have been on a med before that had to be taken in the morning or I was awake all night.

It is strange, it seems on the face ofit to be a great drug but it is not prescribed often
