period not stopping ? meds side effect?

Hi all,

I have been taking sertraline for about 2 weeks now and my period, which usually lasts about 5 days is still going strong at 7 days and does not appear to be stopping as normal.

I've read this can be a side effect. Has anyone experienced this? If so, did it settle down and go back to normal? It's a nuisance.

I read that also. I haven't been on mine long enough to have my period yet, so we'll see how it goes.
