    heres my first tip,

CHARITY SHOPS, if you can make it to a charity shop on a regular basis then you can really save a fortune.
We have 4 charity shops around the corner and they have some amazing bargains...and are usually empty of people

I have just got myself a Laura ashley dress brand new with tags still on it for £7, I am going to be GOD MOTHER in sept (church event).

Then for £4 I found new shoes to match the dress.

I am making a matching necklace and now only need to find a handbag !

Also my daughter just got a bike for £7 because shed outgrown her old bike.

    DISHWASHER TABLETS.

i find these so expensive ,so lately have just put Vinegar in the machine instead and my dishes have come out just as clean , apparently it also helps remove any limescale and is much cheaper and no chemicals.

    Good post Mirry.

Thanks Nic will take a look at those sites later on after Big Bro!

I add water to fresh orange juice to thin it out a bit and that makes it go further - a nutritionist told me to do this because pure juice is a tad too rich and can affect your teeth.

I always shop in the sales, I got some lovely bras (and a pink handbag) for £4 and £5 etc in the recent NEXT sale (cheaper than Primark)!!

Look for stuff on e-bay and/or 2nd hand books on Amazon.

Put all your 5p's in a jar everyday and it soon mounts up (unless a passing teenager spots it)!

If I think of anymore I will return.

"Supposing it didn't," said Pooh after careful thought.

    Another useful site:-

Switch your energy supplier if you have not already done so. If you are still with your traditional supplier (e.g. British Gas, Seeboard/EDF etc) you are probably paying over the odds EVERY month. You can switch here http://www.energyhelpline.com/energy...e.aspx?aid=107

Save on phone bills by using services such as 1899.com You just have to dial a prefix before the number to get cheap calls. Works for overseas calls too.

here are some top energy saving tips http://www.tvec.org.uk/Energy_tips.asp

Did you know that leaving things on standby accounts for 8% of your electricity bill?
So turn the TV and DVD player off when not in use, and don't leave on standby!

Don't forget the classic of turn your underwear inside out and wear it twice

Ladies - don't try this with underwired bras [Oops!]
