100mg increase - feeling the pits - any encouragement?

Hello

I have been on 50mg of Sert for 3 and half weeks and day 10 of my 100mg increase. I was starting to feel OK on 50mg towards the 3 week mark.

The last 3 days, including today I feel dreadful, like I have the flu. I am shattered, my body aches/shakes and horrid headache. I cannot keep my eyes open.

I had bad start up effects with 50mg so wondering is this is because of the increase and they will pass? It is starting to feel like I will never get better.

I'm on the same day of 100mg as you. I am feeling better with anxiety but I've had a bad cold for a few days now that isn't shifting. Headaches, bodyaches, really sore chest and wheezing. I also have jaw clenching and spacey feeling.

Do you take yours am or pm?

I take mine at 8.30am so when I get back to work in October I will take as I arrive, so that I am not wobbling when I drive.

Today is a little easier than the last 3 days, still thick head and jaw feeling. The body shakes are around though not as bad. Anxiety not as high as it has been.

The problem is I get days like this where I am OK then I have a couple of down days which sets me back, I am so tired of working at it :(

Hi MM,

How are you getting on with Sert now? I'm on the same day of 100mg (50mg for a week beforehand) and just seeme to be going through the list of side effects!

I'm not doing too bad, had a blip on Saturday when I felt very weird all day but I will be 6 weeks on 50mg tomorrow and just over 2 weeks on the 100mg and starting to feel like they are making some difference, the side effects have settled at the moment.
