Hi stormy. Yes I have has a terrible time sleeping since starting the prozac. Last night was shocking and today all day I have felt so exhausted and unable to do anything. The depression has been quite bad today. It seems when I am exhausted the anxiety is not so bad.

Maddis mum, hope you find it useful, the two threads that helped me through if you put them in search was the one started by Piano which is similar to this one as she found the five week mark really hard and the one by Sick and Tired which is very long but maps more or less from the beginning to the end of a rocky road, she has also popped up on this thread and helped us so you might find the link through that.

This prozac really does mess with your sleep and eating and makes the anxiety worse and for me and Sally who were not depressed in the first place it did make us depressed for a while.

It does seem like a long road when you are at this stage but I promise you that you will get to the end. xxxx

Hi Sally and Janine, can I ask how you both are feeling these days? With your side effects did either of you ever used to wake up with an adrenalin rush feeling and nervousness. Like you had to keep moving all the time? It's 3 weeks for me now on 20mg and for some reason I felt ok the first 2 weeks yet now this past week I wake this way as well as nervousness all day long, anxiety, fear, depression. Sally when did your meds kick in? Was it about 5 weeks like Janine?
