    Vivid dreams every night

Does anyone else find that they are having vivid dreams? I wake up and can remember the whole nights dreams, it feels as though I have been living another life when I go to bed. I feel rested and am sleeping well but these dreams are amazing.

I now look forward to going to bed as I wonder what the nights dream will be like.

Me too - I woke up this morning absolutely convinced I had moved house.
Quite disappointed to find I hadn't as it was amazing..

I love the vivid dreams, although disappointingly they seem to have tailed off over the last week or so.

    Re: Vivid dreams every night

i have vivid dreams, so much so that i could swear i was physically touched by someone and woke up looking to see whos in my room. Some of them can take a bit of a weird slant, depending on any conversation ive had during the day or TV programs ive watched (i was in a 70's crime sitcom last night - thanks Dad!) lol

Most of the time though they are ok so i can live with them!

Does anyone know how long it takes for the vivid dreams to stop after you come off of Citalopram? Thanks

    Re: Vivid dreams every night

    Hi all,

Not on any meds at present but have been having some crazy dreams, mainly due to my GAD coming back. They are sometimes nightmares but sometimes that vivid that I wake up tingling all over as my mind/body have obviously been going crazy in my sleep!

Trouble is they keep waking me up and then I stay awake because I can't stop thinking about them. They don't even seem to have any relevance to anything, nothing I've watched on TV, and don't seem to refer to everyday situations I've faced. It's so weird.

I wish they'd stop now, I just want a proper nights' sleep!

Citalopram1: My crazy dreams when I was on Citalopram stopped after the first month or so of taking it, so I'm not sure what to tell you. Have you read the Citalopram survival guide on here by Psychopoet? That's awesome and should give you the answers you need.

    Take care,

    Danny xxx
