    Tramadol and anti psychotics

    Hi guys.

Just wondering if anyone takes Tramadol with anti psychotics? I'm on Escitalopram and Quetiapine. I'm in a lot of pain with a condition called Costochondritis, my GP wouldn't prescribe tramadol because of my current medication. Anyone got any experience of this?

I know that you definitely cannot take tramadol with escitalopram, or any SSRIs at that matter because it can give you serotonin syndrome. They have warnings all over the pamphlet I got with my medication.

Actually my sister has fibromyalgia and she switched her SSRI to Cymbalta because that is an anti-depressant that also treats pain too.
