Horrible nightmare

I keep having these nightmares that I need or have a colostemy bag. I never knew what one was until a friend was talking about it on the weekend. It ha freaked me out ever since. I know I dont need one my doctor has not even suggested I need one. I just now fear them and feel like I could need one and start to freak out.

I know this is anxiety. Has anyone ever felt a fear over something like this before?

I suffer with HA someone only has to say they got a lump or bump witch starts me off .I think we all get feared of things people say or bad dreams, I just try and tell myself just by hearing it or dreaming it doesnt mean I got it ,I no its not easy to stop thinking about it I keep busy hope it helps xxxx

Quite often with anxiety we get recurring nightmares. I often get the same nightmare over and over again but it doesn't mean it is going to happen to me. You have probably just got this on your mind so much now that it will keep recurring. Try to be positive and tell yourself it is just a silly dream (as real as it may seem!) and you know you don't need one.

Thanks you two. Yeah I know what you mean I think what affected me too as that a friends of mine said that her two year old girl might need one and I keep thinking about her daughter too. Its such a mess sometimes lol.
