Red line back of throat

Got this thing that keeps bugging me. Keep getting a blocked nose (been months now) so I keep sniffing, not sure whats going on there.

But at the back of my throat I have like a red vertical line going down and looks sore etc.

It's best not to look at the back of your throat. Not only is it gross but looks like some kind of a deceased alien lifeform if you don't know the anatomy of it. If the nose thing is bothering you and especially if you are in pain, see your doctor.

Indeed it does look like an alien.

It's odd, its on the left on the picture going down, but doesn't hurt.

The doctor once said she suspects I have post nasal drip, but is that what it looks like/does to you?
