I can't seem to search the forum. Whenever I do I get a 404 error.

Am I doing something wrong?

I'm using a Macbook Pro running OSX 10.7.5 on Safari.

I sometimes get that on my iPad but the advanced search works ok. Have you tried that?

I've had this error on a pc running windows & using IE8. It's intermittent but seems to happen more if I use the "return" key to start the search rather than hitting ok. same scenario though, I just tried to make it go wrong and of course it worked! it's happened to me on more than one computer as well.

Ahhh hang on I think this happens if you logon and go straight to search for something without reading a thread first if that makes sense.

If it happens again then open any thread and then use search

I've found this also happens to me if I'm trying to read a private message when I visit this website on my mobile phone (using the default HTC Wildfire S browser). When I tap the OK button on the alert box to take me to the PM, it comes up with a 404 error page.

It has happened a few times on my home PC as well, but it seems to happen more often when I'm on my phone.
