    breathing and menstrual cycle

Does anyone else feel that they get short of breath easily around 1 week before their period?

It's strange, and looking in to it, it seems quite a few women get it - but I'm yet to find an explanation for it other than "hormonal imbalance"

It's quite unnerving, because it seems like a very physical thing - even if I use CBT techniques and diaphragmatic breathing, it persists

    hmmm.

Hi ya potato11 (strange name lol )

I used to get this before a period, although I had it all the time anyway, it would get really bad around that time!

It's tension becoz of the hormonal changes. I bet once you've started your period it goes away, right? I know it feels like it's a physical problem but it wouldn't only be there at that time of the month!

    So................menopause does it's upsides
