    Cipralex month 2

    Hi all

    went to docs today and he is not increasing my dose- keeping me at 10mg, he says can take a bit longer than 4 weeks to feel the benefits- anyone else found its taken them a while????

    Hi Chellec, it can take up to two months before medication kicks in properly but you are on quite a low dose, leave it a bit longer and if no improvement you may need to speak to the dr about upping your dose a bit, I am on 15mg and find it better than the 10mg I was on, it has taken two months for it to work for me.

    Thanks for that Polly. Will give it another month and if still nothing then will ask to be upped a does I suppose. Don’t think it helps when I’m premenstrual either!!
    God this anxiety lark isn’t much fun!!! I think I have OCD in a minor way- well thoughts that I cant shake off. That with the panic attacks and the depression makes life very hard
