I don't think that herbal teas contain enough of the herbs in question to cause a major interaction to be honest. I know that it is not recommended to take valerian root with SSRIs because it can make you more drowsy. However, I drink valerian tea, which provides a very gentle sedative effect, and I don't think it really contains enough of the active ingredient to cause an interaction, unless you are very sensitive to them.

Thanks so much, I've been drinking camomile tea and PG tips, and have been feeling quite jittery and nervous I don't know if this is due to the tea or the sertraline side effects.
