    Talking I think I'm slowly getting over my emetophobia

    OK, I was watching some TV and there was a police programe on. One part the police were dealing with an alcoholic, so I was tempted to turn away like I usually do, but I didn't!

    Moments later, the guy had thrown up, and guess what? It didn't bother me! I didn't feel nauseous or anything, and I happened to be eating cornflakes at the time. I didn't panic or anything, I just shrugged it off and continued to watch the rest of the programe. It's made me happy a bit, BUT..... I still worry and panic whenever I feel nauseous (like now....).

    Anyways, I'm going to stay positive and think that one day, I'm going to get over it completely. I'm having CBT sessions soon, so I will let you all know how it goes.

    That's really good news, well done! I hope you will continue to stay positive, and I'm sure the CBT sessions will help you.

    Thank you Sparkle! I've heard very good things about CBT sessions, so I'm REALLY looking forward to it.
