nausea sertraline side effects

hey,

I'm on week 3 of taking sertraline and I've always felt a little nausea but now it's starting to get worse i suddenly feel like throwing up and also feel weak. I'm starting to get worried because I do t know if these symptoms are due to the side effects of taking sertraline or whether there is something physically wrong with me. lm also not sleeping very well, I fall asleep fine but then have nightmares and get really anxious. any advice.? I can feel myself going back into that same anxiety cycle which makes me hit rock bottom and I don't wanna work myself up to that point

Hi, it could be the sertraline - tell your doctor about it. I was so scared about side effects that I only took half a pill a day for the first week (so 25mg). The first couple of weeks I did feel 'off', but it passed. Nausea, sleep problems and increased anxiety can all be side effects.

Yh I'm only taking half a pill aswell, but the nausea can be severe at times which is what freaks me out. Thanks for the advice
