Hi have not posted until last few days been to the doctor few weeks ago with stomach pain bloated was told had some belly wind could not go to loo was given some senna this for some reason made things not better had bad few days pain in stomach after dinner today bad pain and bloating was give last year amitriptyline 10 mg never taken these as sorted anxiety out by myself last few weeks been very stressful maybe have ibs as anyone taken amitripyline been so ill last few days sorry to on and on

I took amitripyline some years ago and it did help me. I didn't notice any bad side effects.

Hi. I also take it, mainly for joint pain as it helps block pain signals to the brain. I have never had any problems with it. Good luck

I took amitriptyline last year for nerve pain. Apart from making me a little bit tired when I first started taking it, I was fine.
