How long till I get off sertraline?

Been on sertraline 4 weeks, 1 wk at 25mg, 3 weeks 50mg and today I start to increase to 100mg. My psych had said I should be on these 6 - 9 months. My
Questionis simply - does anyone think the remaining period will all be on 100mg or do you think she may suggest decreasing it half way thru? I really should have asked her but I forgot!

I would have thought you'd stay at the dosage that works the best for you. From experience of several ADs I find the GP just goes with your own opinion, if you feel it's working for you you should stay on that dose; no point increasing it unless you feel you're getting no benefit.

Thank you both of u! I just am stroll struggling to accept I need tablets! I mean logically I know there's no shame but pride wise I feel a failure for getting depressed. Illogical I know but true! I have been off work 4 weeks and tomorrow have to let them know its another 3 weeks (so 7 in all) I am so relieved in one way to be off work but so humiliated too :(
