    paracetamol with sertraline?

    is it ok to mix the 2, as i have flu like symptoms at the moment and would something help with the headache i have got?

    yeah that is ok to do on an SSRI.

    Like swgrl09 said paracetamol is fine and much better to take than Ibuprofen.

    I've been taking sertraline for four days now I also feel like I'm coming down with flu or something is this a common side affect and will it pass pls anyone

    Common side effect yes, although not one that I had. You might just have flu - quite a lot of it going around at the moment. Colds spread very quickly when there are sudden changes in the weather and I think we can safely say now that our unexpectedly hot summer has well and truly left the building!

    As for paracetamol, then it's a big yes - stick to it because there can be rare yet serious interactions with ibuprofen.
