Is this weird?

When I first started prozac 20mg 21 days ago I had no side effects. Felt good for 10 days straight. Just a bit of heightened anxiety and light agitation but after the 10 day mark I crashed with high anxiety, depression, agitation, fear and zero appetite. Is this possible that the medication has pooped out and I need a higher dose or are these the so effects kicking in late?

Hi Maddies, I experienced side effected from day 3 but I read a lot of posts on this forum and there was a lots of people who start to have side effects after 2 weeks.

Hi Maddis,
Welcome to the site. Side effects can be different for different people but it is unlikely that the Prozac has pooped out after 21 days. I would say stick with it and stick with 20mg as 40mg is not necessarily twice as good as 20mg. It can take a while to settle down properly, sometimes a month or two. I wish you all the best.
