A few questions about Dosulepin?

I'm very slim, always have been. I'm 33, 5ft tall and even after having 3 children I've never weighed more than 6 and a half stone. My appetite as always gone up and down with anxiety blips. Since being on the meds, in the last week I'm craving chocolate, my portion sizes are much larger and I'm constantly hungry, is this due to the meds as its very unlike me? I'm liking it though as I want to gain a stone in weight.
I've been on 25mg of Dosulepin for 16 days and the change n my anxiety levels is amazing, I'm so happy it's helping me. Could this be a placebo affect though on such a low dose? My GP wants to up my dose to 50 but not just yet.


So far I'm really happy, I'm slowly trying to overcome my agoraphobia and my anxiety is so much better

It is the meds especially when you first start taking them. I told my doctor I couldn't stop eating chocolate and he confirmed it is the Dosulipin. I read more about it somewhere but can't remember where I do remember that my dad used to eat lots of chocolate when he was taking it too. xx

I'm eating lots of carbs too. Not that I'm complaining. X

Mirtazipine has the same side effects. It doesn't worry me either because I lost so much weight over the summer because of my anxiety. All my clothes are too big and I can't afford to buy more so need to grow back into them.xx

Yes my mum gained 2 stone on that medication.

I don't want to gain too much, just enough for me to fit back in my clothes without my jeans/trousers falling down
