Not been on for abit but anyway just laid in bed and keep getting palpitations been in a panick today so wondering if that's setting them of ? Any advice please x

me too. they're horrid, aren't they? and the more i check just how fast my pulse is going, the faster it goes and beats even harder.

i find taking a couple of deep tummy breaths helps, and doing the toe-to-head relaxation thing too.. takes your mind off the panic for a little while..

What's this toe to head relaxation method?

it's simply where you lie on your back, close your eyes, and try to think of nothing else but every bit of your body from the toes upwards, deliberately relaxing each bit as you go, as if each part in turn is sinking deep into the bed... by the time you get to your head, you 'should' be quite relaxed.
