    Alcohol and Prozac?

    Hello,
    I was wondering if it is okay to drink alcohol while on prozac?
    I'm 17 and I have been on it for about 2-3 weeks, i am just concerned incase I do have any side effects that there isnt anyone home with me for the next two days?

    You can drink alcohol but I wouldn't go overboard with it as it may make you drowsy.

    Surely at 17 you shouldn't be drinking it though

    That is a downward spiral if you are drinking at 17 to make you feel happy.

    Like I said I don't drink a lot, only once a month if that. I don't see it as bad.

    I will, I couldn't drink that much when i was on sertraline so I won't be getting drunk just having a drink.
