    full blown panic attack

hi guys, just calming down now but have had a hell of a time this last couple of days.no sleep for nearly 24 hours.rang out of hours doctors again.twice within 3 days.when I spoke to the out of hours doctor on Saturday she put me up a extra 10mg of amitriptyline which is what made my dry mouth much worse.I ran the doctor at 12.45am this morning (tues)and he said that I was having very bad side effects from the amitriptyline.he would not give me any sleeping pills,or told me not to take diazepam.he did ring me at 5to4 to see how I was feeling.I had gone for a walk at 1 o'clock on my own in the dark but due to my painful feet could not get back home.got intouch with my daughter who picked me up.hubby stayed with me for a hr or so but he is my carer in the daytime so he needs his rest.anyway bottom line I was up again at 9 o'clock after sleeping for 5 hours getting up 4 Times to have a wee or drink then panic attack reared its ugly head again so rang my gp surgery and nurse rang and told me to take a diazepam and made me a appointment to see a different gp this afternoon at 10 past 4 she thinks I was having all this panicky feeling due to me cutting down 15mg of amitriptyline a day.thanks to all you guys for the support you have given me in the last month.best to all of you take care.x

Sorry to hear you have been feeling so panicky today. It is probably because you are so tired. I am always more anxious when tired.
