Citalopram is an SSRI and unfortnately all SSRI tablets have made we gain weight.I believe it slows down the metabolism, in my case at least ,and not being so young anymore I do limited exercise.

when i was on cipralex i gained 2 stone thats why i took myself off them. but i was on them 4 years...
trouble is im still having anxiety and panic again.
