contamination fear

Does anyone suffer from fear of contamination. I worry if things taste a bit funny or if a packet looks slightly opened or if there is a bit of milk on the top of the milk bottle. I worry that they have been contaminated or someone has spiked them. Drugs phobia is a big thing too - people spiking food/drink etc :(

Imagine someone else with these same fears!! I'm the very same way, as I know that there are a lot who have these fears.

Shame to say, but I have thrown out a lot of food/drink because of this.I have a big fear of being drugged too. I can't drink tap water, so I buy bottled but sometimes I feel they are not sealed well enough, soooo I won't drink it!

I tend to overcook things at times cause I'm scared I might make my family sick.
If we eat take out I get worried that someone has drugged my food, or spit, or god knows what to it. I know this is highly unlikely, but the thought is always in my mind.

I'll add this too, I have a fear of mushrooms. I love stirfry kits but they have mushrooms in it. It's not that I'm afraid that they'll be deadly to eat, but believe it or not, I'm scared they could be "magic" and I will get high from eating it.....ok I sound ridiculous, and I really shake my head at myself!

This even applies to meds, vitamins, tea, a lot. I'm scared of having allergic reactions, like my throat closing.
