How do you mean Jean? Are you talking about therapy? If you are no they don't put you to sleep, you are just sitting on a chair in a room talking to the therapist just the same as you would be sitting talking to a friend. My therapist is lovely xx

Yes Annie,I do mean a therapist.sorry I know what I mean but it does not always come out right.I can't explain myself well.this is due to me being a bit thick at school for about 5/6 year's.I was a little bit hard of hearing and did not pay any attention well, also cut myself off for a few years.x only my family can understand what I want to say.x other people who don't know me can think I'm being rude but I would not hurt a fly.

Jean don't you dare say you were a bit thick at school! Some of my students say that now or their parents say it to them. I always tell them there is no such thing as a 'thick' person. None of us are the same and we all have things that we are good at and some that we are not so good at. Everyone is important in their own way big hugs xx.

You aren't thick it's just the way you communicate to get your idea out. you just don't realize people can't see the whole idea in one big piece as you can. I know lots of people like this and have learned to be patient and not make them feel bad about themselves by being short.

Thanks guys for replies but unless you know me and can understand what I mean I still think I'm stupid not being able to get it out what I'm trying to say.I have upset people in the past saying something and them taking it the wrong way.when I try to explain it to them I make it worse.I would rather not talk to people in case I do upset them.x
