mianserin

hi i have had a look around but i can't find anything about this . it is my next prescription , i have taken first dose and actually got 5 hours sleep which was wonderful - i woke a couple of times but soon went back to sleep...anyway just wondered who else has tried it and how they got on? thank you for reading ..

Mianserin has largely been replaced by a related drug, mirtazapine (which also helps sleep). However, there seems to be some evidence that mianserin has a greater noradrenergic effect (ie more stimulating) than mirtazapine.
