chlordiazepoxide dosage

hi there just wondered if 5mg of chlordiazepoxide a day is a low or high dosage,especially if i have to take it through pregnancy!

I am not sure about that one. I did take it when i first started with my anxiety 6 years ago but cannot remember the dose. I will have a look in my meds book and see if it says anything about it. Will let you know later on when i eventually get Sam to bed!!!!!!

Hi Kim

At last can get back to you, Samantha took a while to settle, she hates bedtime. Read in the medical book that usual dose is between 10 mg - 100 mg 4 x daily and that in pregnancy there are no proved side effects. You are well below the minumum does so i really wouldnt worry. It can be addictive though just like valium etc. Hope that is of some help
