Palps then pain

Hi,

Never really suffered with heart worries until recently. Had a check up at hospital (unrelated reason and not for anxiety or illness)... and the dr said I had some of the signs for Marfan Syndrome. Queue panic! He did an ECG as part of the checks -all fine. I had an echo (paid myself!) - all fine.

But the other day on my way to the echo I had palps (anxiety!) but at the end of it a big thump and a sharp aching pain.

Of course this worried me more. But I was reassured by my echo. Anyone else had palps then a pain at the end?

Felt OK since.. maybe a couple of twinges but nothing major... it was a week ago. I'm 32.

Yes quite often! I've had ECGs and an echo and saw a specialist and all is perfect with my heart. Still don't now what causes the pain. The consultant thought it was musco-skeletal and my chiropractor backed this up saying he thinks its referred pain from my back.

Don't lose sight of the positive of a clear ECG and echo. Obviously many many harmless things that can cause chest pains!
