From 30 to 40mg

I am going up to 40mg but scared if wont work. 30 work for me last time but just doesn't seem enough this time.

Is 40mg a to higher dose or is that people just trying to scare me?

My husband has taken 40mg for years Nicola. I also had to got up to 40mg of Prozac second time round. Personally, I think it's worth trying. It's an easier option than changing meds x

Nicola, Citalopram didn't do me any good in lower doses. It was only when I went up to 40mg it started to work. Don't be scared to take it, it may very well be the dose you need.

Hi Nicola,

I tried lower doses and settled at 40mg for quite a long time, don't be afraid - if its too strong then you can always reduce.
