My symptoms-im scared, realy scared

Hi !
I am 15 and i am experiencing the following symptom:
When i look at small patterins or red plaids or anything with stripes, my vision will shimmer and vibrate, like a heat wave coming off. It happens 24/7
It is happening since January. I am anxious and experience these symptoms(ALL VISIUAL):
Shimmering and vibrating as no. 1
Halos, Glare and Starbursts as no. 2
Flashing lights as no.3
Floaters as no. 4

My mom had a succesfuly treated brain tumor(she had TOTALLY DIFFERENT symptoms and no visual) I AM AFRAID I HAVE A BRAIN TUMOR,
although i dont have any symptoms of brain tumors listed on the net(tough)


I HAVE SEEN AROUND 20 people on the net with the same symptoms and most of them have: STRESS/ANXIETY, OCULAR MIGRAINES, VISUAL SNOW AND
IDIOPATHIC...........


Can someone calm me down please



P.S. My mothers brain tumor is not of a genetic kind. And it occured after i was born.


P.S. I HAVE BEEN TO AN OPTOMETRIST WHO CHECKED MY RETINA AND ALL WAS OK....I HAVE BEEN TO AN OPHTALMOLOGIST 2 WEEKS BEFORE THE SYMPTOMS OCCURED

It honestly sounds like anxiety and I am sure that the knowledge of what happened to your mum is playing on your mind. You are still quite young so you probably have a lot of stress going in with your education etc. Have you tried speaking to a doctor about both your symptoms and also your anxiety? They may be able to offer you some support. I am much older than you but I honestly have had a whole heap of visual stuff with my anxiety. When it was at its worst my vision was really blurry.

Yes, indeed I have. I have halos and light trails when going from light to dark. I went through a phase when my anxiety was high of seeing flashes like camera flashes in the corner of my vision. I also once went through a phase of seeing something black moving in my line of vision, rather like a mouse or something shooting accross the floor! I have had black floaters for years but also started having white and blue ones. I had all these in a phase of very bad a acute anxiety. All these have gone now, apart from the blakc floaters and the light trails.
