Citalopram- the roller coaster ride day 12

Well after a couple of failry good days last nite was a shocker!- went out and had 1 beer and a meal and whammo- loads of nerve surges and head flashes in the night and prickling back and legs with a shocking headache, this really is powerful medication, I'm only on 5mg!

Feel slightly better for just getting up and moving around.

Whats the advice regarding alcohol?, looks like at this stage Im gonna need to avoid it.

If I get stable on this dose will I have side effects again if I up it?

ive pretty much avoided alcohol for the 6months or so ive been taking cit. Having said that the occasional glass of wine or pint has been fine.. I think its worth avoiding if you can as its is not the best thing to mix with medication
