Random palps

Hi

Jut wondering if anyone else gets random palps i.e., not when anxious or having a racing heart beat? I seem to have them 3-5 times a day and just one "flip flop" and then normal.. I could be cooking, reading, doing whatever... bit weird!

I've recently had and ecg and an echo and all fine - right?!

yes I get these sometimes too, sort of out of the blue flops. My doctor just says anxiety causes them

i get these too. watching tv, in bed reading a book, on laptop.

Ive been getting them.for over 24 hrs now. Have had an echo in jan (mostly ok) and a 24 hr ecg which showed 5000 palps. The drs arent worried, all say its extreme anxiety but its these that cause them!! Since 9pm on sun night they started again and wont go :( x

It's a difficult cycle with palpitations and anxiety, because anxiety can trigger palpitations, but palpitations can also trigger anxiety.

If it's too much to be comfortable for you, head back to the doctors and let them know.
