Advice please

Hi, not sure if I'm posting in the right area... I've been having the occasional palpitation for a few months and my doctor says I need to go into the surgery to see him. I'm agoraphobic and haven't been as far as my doctors surgery for about 3 years. I feel very down about the whole situation but at the same time I need reassurance about the palpitations. :(
Any advice on how to challenge the agoraphobia and attend my doctors surgery would be much appreciated please.

Yes, luckily I have a few people that could go with me. It just seems like an impossible task at the minute though :(

Is it possible to request a home visit from your doctor?

I've tried a couple of times now for a home visit but they keep refusing? I seems like they are just being awkward as they haven't really been very helpful with my condition at all

How times have changed.Years ago our doctor used to have a cup of tea when visting our house. When i was 15 I had chickenpox and the doc came out 3 times to see me. I had a major operation 2001 and the Gp was supposed to come to see me
when I came out of hospital. In the end I rang the surgery.
The Gp came out and was in the house no more than 3 minutes.
Sorry to on a bit doodlebug. It's a very difficult situation.
