6 weeks on Citalopram: no motivation

Hi guys,
I am still anxious and down in the mornings and have a complete lack of motivation.
I am getting concerned...
I have been having a hard time getting myself up in the morning and doing stuff throughout the day.
At first I had insomnia with Citalopram but now I could sleep all day long!!
All I want to do is sleep!!!
I just forced myself to get up at 7:30 this morning and helped my kids get ready for school. I then just wanted to go to sleep again!!
Then hubby encouraged me to go for a run and it took me until 9am to talk myself into it and go. I went for a 3 mile run and then came home and again felt the temptation to go to sleep!! I have to fight it so hard!
I can eat but I am not hungry. What's wrong with me?
I have been on Citalopram for 6 weeks now (5 weeks on 20mg and then upped the dose to 30 mg 1 week ago).

6 weeks is still quite early on, especially as your last dose change was only a week ago. It can take a few more weeks for things to settle. You'll get there, but these things take time, this type of medication is a long term thing (sadly!).

I have never felt like this, with such a low motivation and just wanting to sleep all day. I want to feel better soon so badly....
