    2nd attempt with citalopram

My second attempt at taking citalopram. The first time it made me insanely anxious and I felt like I was just crawling out of my skin..I had to stop. I decided to give it another try about 6 weeks later, this time im EXHAUSTED. I am sleeping 8 hrs a night and can barely keep my eyes open during the afternoons. I feel tired like I took 2 gravol or benedryl(canadian) just fatigued. I dont think I can handle this and will have to stop again :(

Guess the dr cant say I didnt try, i really did.

    Hi Lynion.

How long have you been taking it this time around? I found the tiredness and zombie like effect gradually decreased after a couple of weeks.

Don't worry, if you can't tolerate the side effects, there are several other medications that the doctor could try you on. There is bound to be one which will suit you better.
