My dosage upped from 20 to 30mg

Just had my latest progress appt at the GP and she has discussed me upping from 20 to 30 since I have levelled out on 20 and I'm still feeling the anxiety issues. She thinks I'm doing a lot better than I was 8 weeks ago which is positive.

I'm hoping the side effects will be minimal.

My GP who I really like informed me that she is leaving the practice in June which is a blow as I felt like she really cared how I was doing, I just hope the next doctor is as caring and supportive.

Just to let you know that I have upped to 30mg from 20mg 7 days ago and I suffered no side effects (phew!). My dr wants me to try 40mg but I'm not sure what to do as I seem to be pretty good on 30mg.......

    Thanks for that.

I was doing well on 20 for a while but I seem to be allowing the worry creep in again. I'm awaiting an appointment with the hospital for therapy.

Im going to beat this. Life is too short.

Started taking the increased dose and the nausea and increased anxiety is back. Bummer. Still, onwards and upwards as they say.

The side effects should be short lived, hope you are feeling better? I still haven't taken the plunge to the next level 40mg, I still am unsure if I should increase or not....

Probably too early to tell yet as it's only day two, however maybe in a week or so I hope to feel a bit better.

Liviguy I've gone up to 40mg am on day 6 and anxiety through the roof. Has your gp given you anything along with it for anxiety till meds kick in?

Nope, nothing at all. I started on 20mg and the uncomfortable side effects lasted for around two weeks so I am hoping the side effects of 30mg will only last a week.

I do take Stemetil for the nausea which help a little.
