Small flat red dots on skin (mainly arms)

No. Looks like mild petetchie (not sure how to spell).
Had a blood test this morning and woman said to make docs appointment for peace of mind.

Just found a few previous posts on these and lots of ppl seem to get them and they seem relatively common. Cue sigh of relief!

Have them too. They are called cherry angiomas, and are quite harmless. If you are seriously concerned about them for any cosmetic reason, you can have them removed with laser treatments, but they are totally harmless and benign. You will likely get more of them over the years too (I have a half dozen or so, and they seem to be a product of not being 20 years old anymore ;-) )
