Been taking Fluoxetine for almost 5 years now but doc thinks they are no longer working.
I hate trying new medication and am terrified to try these! I am scared I'll get a bad reaction. :-(

What has the doctor prescribed for you? If it is another SSRI type of anti depressant then the side effects should not be so bad as if you had never had this type of medication before.
Start by doing what is necessary, then do what is possible and before you know it you will be doing the impossible.

Ciralopram 20mg 1 a day.
So do you think it's highly unlikely id be allergic or anything!

I took fluoxetine for 3 weeks and then my doctor changed to citalopram and I was fine. I wouldn't think that you would be allergic, you might have a few mild side effects. We are all different so what happens to one person might be different for someone else.

Well I took half (so 10mg). One step forward :-)
I'll take the other half tomorrow and then start taking full ones on Friday.
