I have got a letter today from the gastroenterologist regarding my abnormal lft and my ALT has gone down from 91 to 49 but it says i have significantly abnormal cholesterol and triglyceride levels.I have to have these repeated from a fasting sample and if they are still outranged i need to have statin management on an ongoing basis.
So my liver worries have been replaced by heart worries.

Cholesterol can be controlled with diet and exercise or as you say statins so it does not mean you are about to have a heart attack or anything.
