    Unhappy venlafaxine.

    Can anyone help....Im on my 6th day of this med. and I feel so rough, heads all foggy blurry vision are these side effects.

    Hi yes hun there all side effects, when i first started venlafaxine i nearly quit on my 4th day! Keep going it should wear off soon x x

    I agree with Nicola, hang in there, things will definitely get better. Has your GP given you any diazepam to help with the start up side effects? Might be worth asking if you havent got any. Good luck xx

    Aw thanks Ladies.... I do have a couple of diazepam which I use for flying. 2mg will the be ok with them.

    The odd 2mg should be fine to help you if you are feeling really bad.

    I take venlafaxine and have just been given 2mg of diazepam by GP to take at the same time

    I was also given diazepam whilst starting up venlafaxine, it really helped x x

    Wow.....well I've had the most awful panic attack this morning, In the end my husband has'nt gone to work.

    Why is this happening, I know I have been getting very anxious about being on my own, alone in the house, in case something happens to me. It was not too many months ago I could stay on my own, days and nights...

    Anyone else suffers with this?

    Aww, so sorry to hear that Katie...I too have been there before and it's very unsettling.

    Did you get some diazepam to take with your Ven? I am sure this will help a little.
