Mri thursday.

I am having my brain mri on thursday and starting to worry what will be found. I had a ct scan which showed 3 shadows. My head symptoms have been awful since november. I go dizzy everytime i lay down or get up, awful headaches and pressure, my eyes sometimes water, earache and nausea etc. I don't know what it could be but i am hoping it's not too serious. I know something is definitely going on because of the awful headaches.

I know its really hard to think positive but do try. I'm sure it isn't anything serious and even if it was they can treat you. Just try to stay positive and do things to take your mind off everything. Message me if you would like to chat :-) xx

I am worried it's cancer, ms or some kind of dementia

When did you have the CT scan?? If they thought you had brain cancer you would get your mri done very fast but your post makes it sould like you had your CT scan some time ago????

I have all sorts of things on my brain but none of them are of any clinical significance like ms type lesions on my brain but not in a place that you get ms lesions and are just incidental findings so it is possible to have worrying results and it be nothing major.

Good luck with your mri - I am waiting to have a follow up one soon as well and please let us know how you get on.

When you got the CT scan results did the Dr give you any indication of what might be causing the shadows???
I totally understand your worries, as will everyone on here, we would all be the same but hang onto the fact it does not have to be anything life threatening.
At least the Drs are doing the right thing getting the mri and this scan literally shows up everything even enlarged blood vessels!

My Dr just said it wasn't cancer and i hadn't had a stroke and that was all.

Keep tellilng yourself what he said as thats alot of nasty things ruled out!
