I would chat to your doctor and see what he has to say, he might get you to weather out the side effects first before upping the dose.
I went up to 30mg after 3 weeks but the side effects (most of them) had gone.
Good luck x
Start by doing what is necessary, then do what is possible and before you know it you will be doing the impossible.
is this your first time on cit martin ?
i think 3 weeks is to soon to tell on 20mg, you need to give it to 6 weeks id say, as it has to start to regulate your serotonin, some it works really quick, others it can take 6 to 8 weeks before it really gets to work, when i was on cit the first time, by 1 month it had got to working and i was starting to feel happy with no anxiety, by week 6 it was doing its job, give it time
yeah its my first time ,
Defo stick with it longer like Lisa said it can take longer to build in ur system for others. I've had an increase of 30 to 40mg today is my 30th day and still waiting to feel normal lol xx
If you are still getting side effects, then I'd say you need to stay on your current dose for longer. People don't usually notice any improvement in their anxiety until after the side effects have died down. So I'd say to give it a few more weeks.
