rely on technology too much as a distraction

My problem is i cant relax, once im by myself ill panic or at night if theres nothin to distract me such as my phone/telly/laptop ill start worrying.

Trying to put a stop to that every evening this week ive sat on the swinging chair in the garden not even with an ipod!
The cat will normally sit on my lap, must admit its hard for me just to do this feel like i need to put the telly on to distract my thoughts but i need to do this and be at peace with myself!!

I do the same!! I have tvs on in nearly every room and the radio on in the kitchen, constantly have my phone/ipad on the go. It helps distract me though and I don't think that's a bad thing at the moment. Every little helps?!

Going for a long walk in pleasant surroundings helps. No ipod, phone off.. just you and nature. Works great.. and it's the time of the year for it too
